I... I don't even know.

So I'm pretty near to pulling the trigger to buy a condo. Like for reals.

Called a realtor today to discuss specific HOA fees for the place I'm most interested in and get a sense of first steps. Called the bank I have my checking at to discuss financing and have a pre-qual letter on the way. I guess the next step is finding a realtor of my own which I'll try to do next week after the pre-qual comes.

Need help. Quite a few of you have done this now. What do I need to know about these first steps? Any tips on picking a realtor? Any books that have helped with the process? Anything and everything would be much appreciated.

The single dumbest person in Austin has my phone number and thinks there should be an Elizabeth here. The last ten minutes of my life have gone something like this:

*ring ring ring*
"Hello..."?
*call disconnects*

Ten seconds later
*ring ring ring*
"Hello?"
"Hi! Is Elizabeth there?"
"No, I think you have the wrong number."
*call disconnects*

Ten seconds later
*ring ring ring*
*wow, she's a little slow, open the phone and close it to hang up on her*

TEN SECONDS LATER
*ring ring ring*
"YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. STOP CALLING IT."
*call disconnects*

TEN F'ING SECONDS LATER
*ring ring ring*

*she left a message?*
Message: "Hi! This is supposed to be Elizabeth's number but I guess it might not be. Anyway I'm supposed to pick you up at noon and stuff, so yeah, call me back!"


I've been thinking about it. This same bitch called me *days* ago and left a message for Elizabeth. I'm beginning to think whoever this Elizabeth person is doesn't like her very much...and I can see why.

So I've been playing my Mage, right? She got the Shatter talent some bit ago and found out that it was leveling sex. I'd heard about this thing called a 'Shatter Combo' though and wasn't quite sure what it was.

So I looked it up today.

Turns out I had basically been doing this already but with Fire Blast however I was still curious about this 'Ice Lance' that people say you're supposed to combo it with.

So, like, I haven't been posting. That's kind of been on purpose. Just felt like being withdrawn for a while but I'm leaning the other way now so... yeah.

I just posted an entry that's pretty much me vomiting into text all the shit that's taking up too much space in my head but I don't feel like I really covered the state of me nor do I really want to do that kind of self masturbatory post.

So I guess, I'm here for the moment? If there's anything you want to know just post a comment and we can discuss. Otherwise, I'm pretty much just going to pretend that we're all on the same page and move forward here.


Very important question for you all though! I have a 2000 Nissan Sentra with this nifty feature called a 'shift lock' that causes you to not be able to shift unless the key is in the ignition. Problem is it's doing it's job too well right now and not letting me shift anyway. Sometimes there's a delay and it'll click off after 10-15s and sometimes I have to keep reapplying the brake (and waiting) over and over until it goes. This sucks hugely. Do any of you happen to have any experience with this and can tell me how to break this feature? From the little bit of research I've done I think there might be a fuse I can pull? Not really expecting anything but thought I'd throw it out there.
